EMPAQUETADA, Wearable vinyl sculptures, 2018
Empaquetada is a performance piece with wearable textiles that explores the notion of identity as packaging. Large vinyl structures envelop the body completely, as delicate yet malleable membranes that both protect and isolate. Their simple geometric and angular form becomes organic as the body moves within them, transforming them into unidentifiable shapes.
